Define Heasay —— Hearsay is a rule of law that applies to evidence presented at trial. Evidence is information offered by either side during the trial. This information is used by the trier of fact (the Judge) to decide the case. Evidence can be either testimonial or physical. Testimonial evidence is what is said by witnesses during the trial. A diagrams, photo, or any type of object is physical evidence.
